Summerhouses & Pagodas in Skipton and Yorkshire

Need a home office, a hobby room, a gym or somewhere to work on the car? Crown Hill Contracting builds custom summerhouses, pagodas and workshops for homes across North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Because we handle the groundworks as well as the build, you get one team from the first spade in the ground to the finished room.

Summerhouses, Pagodas and Home Offices

A summerhouse or pagoda gives you extra space without the cost and disruption of an extension. We build timber summerhouses and pagodas to suit the space you have and how you want to use it, whether that’s:

A quiet home office away from the house
A summerhouse or garden studio
A home gym or games room
A hobby room or extra storage

Each room is insulated and weatherproofed with properly fitted cladding, windows and doors, so it stays warm, dry and usable all year round.

Workshops and Outbuildings

We also build workshops, sheds and outbuildings for tools, machinery, bikes and storage, for homes, smallholdings and farms. Where you need something heavier duty, our on site fabrication service can make steel frames, doors and security gates to measure.

Bases and Groundworks

A summerhouse or pagoda is only as good as the base it sits on. We prepare the ground, sort out levels and drainage, and lay a solid base before the build starts, whether that’s a compacted stone sub-base or a concrete slab. As experienced groundworks contractors, we can deal with sloping gardens and awkward access, and we can finish the job with a patio, path or decking outside the door.

Summerhouses and Pagodas Across Yorkshire and Lancashire

We build summerhouses and pagodas in Skipton, Keighley, Ilkley, Harrogate, Bradford, Barnoldswick, Burnley and the surrounding areas. To talk through your ideas, call Tom on 07722 161675 or get in touch for a free, no obligation quote.

Tom did a great job laying a stone patio upon which we will put a summerhouse. A really clean and tidy job. Tom was also able to advise on ideas, materials, sizing etc. Really professional. Honest pricing. Thanks Tom.

Patios and Paving

“Within budget and on time” only goes part of the way to explaining why choosing the local firm, Crown Hill Contracting Ltd, was a good decision. Their accurate assessment of both what needed to be done and the materials that would be used, together with a high standard of construction work, has resulted in a project completed with minimum disruption that has won praise from us and our neighbours. Thank you very much.

Patio and Paving

Thank you so much once again for doing our garden. I can’t believe how fast you managed to turn it around! It looks fantastic and you’ve put my mind at rest knowing the walls are safe, especially on the public path side. Please thank the other guys who came too; you’ve all smashed it and left it looking exactly how we wanted it, as well as very neat and tidy. We will be in touch for more work in the future and will be 100% recommending you to all!

Flagging – Patio

From the initial planning visit through to completion, it was evident that Tom prides himself on providing quality workmanship and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Tom and his team were professional and respectful of the environment in which they worked – they were punctual, hardworking and the site was kept clean and tidy. As the project progressed, Tom regularly checked in with me to make certain that I was happy with the work and to accommodate any changes that I wanted to make, and this extended to a post-completion visit. I can highly recommend CHC.

Tom has recently started his own business. I have already had a couple of fencing jobs done and he did a first-class job. Tom is prompt, reliable and very approachable. I would not hesitate to recommend him if you need any work done.

Artificial Grass

I recently had artificial grass installed in my garden, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The team was incredibly professional from start to finish, working efficiently and completing the job much quicker than I expected. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they made sure everything was done to the highest standard. Would highly recommend.
